Description

Orquesta Caribe is a Latin jazz ensemble formed to play at The Triple  Door Musicquarium. Put together by Tor Dietrichson, the ensemble is fronted by one of Seattle's true treasures of Jazz and Latin Jazz, stellar pianist Eric Verlinde. The rest of us, bassist Dean Schmidt, conga player Tor Dietrichson, and timbale/percussionist Francisco "Jr." Medina, all navigate the twists and turns that Eric's wonderful piano playing takes us to. This ensemble is sure to keep the Salsa dancers dancing, the drinkers drinking and the talkers talking. 

Mostly an instrumental band, we at times feature various special guests and some vocal tunes as well.
