LINDA: The Story and Music of Linda Ronstadt

LINDA: The Story and Music of Linda Ronstadt

Saturday, November 16, 2024 @ 9:00PMSat, Nov 16, 2024 @ 9:00PM

Mainstage Theatre, 216 Union Street, Seattle

Featuring: Mireya Ramos, V. Contreras and Brenna Bruce with Mariachi Ti Sierra Seattle & Special Guests

Before Linda Ronstadt was a household name, she was a young girl living on a farm in Tucson. Linda’s life was surrounded by music. Her grandparents were opera aficionados and while her father played Mexican songs on the piano, her mother would be listening to a Gilbert and Sullivan piece. Being exposed to a diverse repertoire of musical styles brought Linda a unique perspective and an uncanny ability to sing any style of music.

Join us as we honor the extraordinary life story and music of a legend. This show is sure to evoke nostalgia and to leave you with a deeper respect and richer understanding of one the most prominent voices and one of the most successful female recording artists in U.S. history.

With 31 gold and platinum records, this 11-time Grammy Award- winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, consistently followed her heart and created her own path recording diverse genres including rock, country, opera, the Great American Songbook, and Mariachi and Latin music.

This show features 20 plus chart-topping songs that span the eras of her work in early folk and rock ‘n roll, her collaboration with the inimitable Nelson Riddle, and her Spanish language songs of her childhood and Mexican heritage.

$35 - $60
