After a decade on the East Coast, Alexis Maurer returns to Seattle, bringing his explosive jazz guitar sound to the city’s vibrant jazz scene. Originally trained as a classical violinist, Maurer draws on influences from jazz, blues, classical, and funk to create a dynamic, genre-blending style that resonates with a wide range of audiences.

A Seattle native, Maurer has performed alongside many of the region’s jazz greats. For this performance, he’ll be joined by acclaimed bassist Phil Sparks.
